Even unfinished it is a monstrously large palace, the biggest building in Europe, build by Ceausescu, for ‘the people’.
Michael Jackson had the honor to be the first to speak to the people of Bucharest from the palace’ balcony. When he arrived in front of the masses, he spoke the legendary words: ‘Hello Budapest!’.
